Elizabeth Ann Dillon Fisher, about 1929, age about 40.
Grandma Elizabeth Ann Dillon Fisher’s father died while she was in utero, on 26 July 1888. Elizabeth was born just 6 months later, on 28 January 1889. Tragically, her mother Margaret Girdley Dillon died a year later, on 10 February, 1890. Elizabeth and her siblings, William Bradford Dillon and Jane “Jannie” Dillon were raised by their maternal grandmother, Jane Sargent Girdley.
These below are not my direct ancestors, but relations of the Dillons and Girdleys:
This is Jane Sargent Girdley’s son, Alexander Bradford Girdley, b. 1875, and his wife, Julia Ann Scott, b. 1876. Alexander was the brother of my great grandmother Margaret Girdley Dillon.
Right: Molly Sargent. Molly was Jane Sargent Girdley’s baby sister Mary.

William Bradford Dillon with ??. William was born in 1885 and died single at age 28 in 1913 in Pennsylvania of pulmonary tuberculosis.
Roy Huff, b. 1906, d. 1970. Roy was the adopted son of Jane (Jannie) Dillon Huff, sister of my grandmother Elizabeth Ann Dillon Fisher.
