IRAQI
& AFGHANI DEATHS - ONE DAY'S MAYHEM -
JULY 2, 2006
We couldn't let this day's report
go unacknowledged...
These reports (each with a reputable
news link) detail some of the many
dead and wounded among Iraqi military
and civilians. We are not aware of
any source that authoritatively and
consistently compiles or counts these
kinds of reports. The following stories
were compiled by Evan D. Evan’s
search came up with at
least 19
dead, 81 wounded and also a Coalition
soldier killed - in fighting on
a single day, Sunday, July 2, 2006.
Similar news coverage turned up casualties
in Afghanistan: 11 dead and 6 wounded
plus 4 Coalition soldiers dead and
one wounded - on Sunday, July 2, 2006 (see
below).
