We are not aware of any source that authoritatively and consistently compiles or counts these kinds of reports. The following news links were compiled by Evan D.

Baghdad:        
#1: A bomb planted in the street killed at least seven people and wounded five as they left a Sunni mosque in northern Baghdad after Friday prayers, police said. Further details of the incident at the Ismail al-Qubaisi mosque were not immediately available. 7 5    
         
A bomb exploded at a Sunni mosque in Baghdad after Friday prayers, killing 14 people and wounding five, while mortars barraged a Shiite mosque north of the capital. 14 5    
         
#2: Elsewhere in the capital, gunmen killed a taxi driver in a drive-by shooting in the volatile Dora neighborhood of southern Baghdad, police said. 1      
         
#3: Gunmen also opened fire on a bus in western Baghdad, wounding three passengers, police Lt. Mutaz Salaheddin said.   3    
         
#4: Gunmen sprayed a minibus with machinegun fire southeast of Baghdad on Friday, killing five Shi'ite pilgrims, including a woman and a child, police said. Aziziyah:        
#1: A body dressed in traditional Arab clothing, shot in the chest and showing signs of torture, was found in Aziziyah, 35 miles southeast of Baghdad. 1      
         
         
Balad Ruz:        
#1: Six mortar rounds hit a Shi'ite mosque, killing two people and wounding four in the town of Balad Ruz about 40 km (25 miles) southeast of Baquba, police said. 2 4    
         
#2: Not far from Balad Ruz, the bodies of two brothers and a cousin were found, apparently the latest victims of a mass kidnapping that took place in the nearby town of Muqdadiyah on Wednesday. 3      
         
         
Tikrit:        
#1: An Iraqi contractor working with the US forces was shot dead by gunmen close to the northern city of Tikrit, hometown of ousted dictator, police said. The contractor's 18-year-old son was also wounded in the attack when gunmen ambushed the car in which they were travelling. 1 1    
         
Mosul:        
#1: A policeman was shot to death in front of his home in the northern city of Mosul, Col. Abdul-Karim al-Jibouri said. 1      
         
#2: Also in the restive northern city of Mosul, a bodyguard of a judge were shot dead by gunmen, police said. 1      
         
#3: A suicide car bomber targeting an Iraqi police patrol killed five people, including three civilians, and wounded four in the northern city of Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad, police said. 5 4    
         
         
Kirkuk:        
#1: One policeman was killed and another wounded when gunmen opened fire on their car in central Kirkuk, police said. 1 1    
         
         
Rashaad:        
#1: Gunmen attacked an Iraqi army checkpoint in northern Iraq on Friday, killing 12 soldiers and wounding one, Iraqi army Major General Anwar Hamad Ameen said. Ameen told Reuters the gunmen attacked the soldiers in Rashaad, 40 km (24 miles) south of Kirkuk, with rocket propelled grenades and machineguns at 3.30 p.m. (1130 GMT). The Defence Ministry confirmed the incident but said it had no details. 12 1    
         
Gunmen killed 13 Iraqi soldiers in an attack on their checkpoint near the northern oil hub of Kirkuk Friday, an army official said. 'The gunmen came in many vehicles and opened fire on the soldiers who were guarding the checkpoint and killed all the 13, including an officer,' colonel Mahmud Abdullah said. 13      
         
         
Tal Afar:        
#1: Police found 12 bodies dumped in a deserted cemetery in Tal Afar, about 420 km (260 miles) northwest of Baghdad, police said. Hospital sources said it was thought they had been strangled four or five months ago. 12      
         
#2: A sniper killed two policemen manning a checkpoint in Tal Afar on Thursday, police said. 2

Afghanis: 7 dead, 4 wounded

#1: At least six Taliban insurgents have been killed and four others wounded in an exchange of fire in the southern Helmand province of Afghanistan, an officer told Xinhua on Friday. The militants were killed or injured on Thursday night by Afghan troops, police and coalition forces in Mirmanda and Hidar Ahbad villages in Grashak district of Helmand, said General Nabijan Mullhakhed, a senior commander of Afghan forces. Two militants were arrested, and no casualties were reported from the troops and police, he added. 6 4    
         
#2: An Afghan female official has been killed in central Afghanistan by Taliban militants, the Afghan National TV reported Thursday night. Zahra, the first female official murdered after the Taliban regime collapsed in 2001, was from refugee department in Ghazni province. She was kidnapped two days ago and her body was found on Thursday, provincial police chief Tafser Khan Khogiani was quoted as saying by the TV. 1      
         
#3: A Dutch Apache helicopter made a precautionary landing in Afghanistan on Sunday after it was damaged by ground fire, the Ministry of Defence said on Friday. The helicopter was fired on with a small calibre weapon and suffered damage to its hydraulic system and tail section. The two-man crew returned safely to the Dutch base at Tarin Kowt.

In Country:
#1: The Government is verifying reports that five Indians working for a private company in Iraq have been kidnapped, according to Minister of State for External Affairs E Ahamed.
     In shocking news emanating from Iraq, five Indian nationals have gone missing after entering the war-torn nation. Those missing include two persons form Punjab and three from Kerala. The Indians have been missing for over 25 days now and are believed to be employees of the Kuwait Gulf and Link company, which undertakes transport operations in Iraq. The Indians were carrying a consignment of chicken form Kuwait to Iraq.
#2: The U.S. military said initial reports indicated that an Apache attack helicopter that crashed in a dangerous area southwest of Baghdad on Thursday was brought down by hostile fire.
